About Supplements
The Journal accepts proposals for supplements that provide a comprehensive exploration of a specific theme, emerging discipline, or major scientific/clinical advancement. Supplements are intended to serve as a valuable reference resource for readers, and may be comprised of invited reviews, consensus guidelines, original research, case series, or a combination of these formats.
Submission Guidelines
-
Proposal: Prospective guest editors should submit a proposal (2–3 pages) outlining the theme, objectives, scope, and a tentative table of contents.
-
Editorial Oversight: Each supplement will be coordinated by one or more Guest Editors in consultation with the Journal’s Editorial Board.
-
Manuscript Types: Review articles, original research, meta-analyses, consensus statements, case series, pictorial essays, and systematic reviews are encouraged.
-
Peer Review: All manuscripts submitted to a supplement undergo independent peer review and must meet the Journal’s editorial and ethical standards.
-
Funding & Disclosure: If a supplement is sponsored by an institution, society, or industry partner, funding sources must be transparently declared, and the peer review process will remain fully independent.
